He is the author of many books, among them \u201cThe Pet Dragon,\u201d which teaches Chinese characters to young readers, \u201cI LEGO N.Y.\u201d and, most recently, \u201cSUBWAY,\u201d based on \u201cThe Boys and the Subway,\u201d the first entry of his <a title=\"nytimes\" href=\"http:\/\/niemann.blogs.nytimes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Abstract City<\/a> blog.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<style
